Speak Often?

How often do I have to get up and speak?

This is a loaded question. One of the objectives of Toastmasters is to learn to speak with confidence.

When you visit our club, we may ask you three questions: 1) What is your name? 2) How did you hear about us? and 3) What did you think about the meeting?

You are NOT required to speak unless you want to.

After you join, we may ask you to fill one of our meeting roles. We may even ask you a Table Topics question.

The meeting is enjoyable and you will want to give us your "two cents worth."
