Do you want to join Las Colinas Communicators right now? If so, you can Contact us by email or phone.

Try this link if you want to learn more about District 25.

However, you may have some questions. Maybe you'll find your answers below or in this separate article.

Las Colinas Communicators is a Toastmasters club in District 25. Like all good clubs we have a Mission Statement. The dress code is casual. Attendance is voluntary.

Although a meal is not provided, you can still have a great time!

We have a club newsletter. Once you join, you'll have access to the current as well as archived newsletters.

You're welcome to join our club even if you're a member of another club. Many Toastmasters are members of several clubs.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Does the thought of speaking before an audience turn your knees to jelly with anxiety? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Do you want to gain confidence? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Are you looking for ways to cure boring, disorganized business meetings that run far over their allotted time?
  • Do you want to increase your ability to lead teams and conduct meetings? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Does your job require you to make presentations from time to time? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Are you interested in choosing just the right words to move, persuade, or amuse your audience?
  • Do you want some training without spending a fortune? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Do you want to learn to listen effectively? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Do you want to practice and refine your ability to address any topic on the spur of the moment? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Do you want to practice giving and receiving constructive evaluations? Read a comment from one of our members.
  • Are you looking for a fun, supportive and friendly environment in which to become a better speaker?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, then you'll want to join us. We meet every Wednesday at noon for an hour. Directions are found here.

Membership in Las Colinas Communicators has fees like almost any other club. Here's how much it costs.

The first Toastmasters manual has 10 speeches with specific objectives.

A typical meeting agenda includes various roles and responsibilities. Stop by for a visit once, twice, or as many times as you want.

Someone once asked, "How often do I have to get up and talk?" This is a question with an unusual answer. There are also many special activities for members and visitors including speech contests. Keep in mind that the number of speeches you give is entirely up to you.

An Educational Program is available to every member. This includes a Communication Track and Leadership Track.

We, as Toastmasters, commit to what's called the Toastmaster's Promise.

Are you ready to join now? Don't wait. Join in on the fun! Contact us and/or visit our club. We look forward to getting to know you.
